Final Edition Of The Little Review

I didn’t take any pictures because I knew I could just copy-paste them from the PDF on internet archive but someone fucking hacked the internet archive so it’s over for me. We flipped through it pretty casually – there were lots of fun, brief interviews consisting of questionnaire answers. The one I liked was “Why do you go on living?” – I wanted to gauge how sad the average poet was in 1929 so I flipped through. Most of them were pretty positive. I remember Margaret Anderson’s was “Because sometimes I can play the piano so beautifully”. Again I would love to provide an image of this but the Internet Archive, which the PDF was hosted on, got hacked. You can google this it’s a real thing that happened it’s an actual humanitarian concern. Anyways a significant amount of poets refused the questionnaire for being beneath them, or too personal, or whatever – one guy said his wife wouldn’t let him take it because she didn’t want other women knowing that much about him. That was funny.
